{"id":808,"date":"2014-07-21T12:39:43","date_gmt":"2014-07-21T02:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.tweak.com.au\/?p=808"},"modified":"2015-08-14T04:11:11","modified_gmt":"2015-08-14T04:11:11","slug":"overlandtrack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tweak.com.au\/site\/overlandtrack\/","title":{"rendered":"Tweak&#8217;s MD tackles Tasmania&#8217;s Overland Track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brent recalls his recent adventure on one of Australia&#8217;s most famous bush walks.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>My decade long dream of hiking\u00a0<a title=\"Overland Track\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Overland_Track\" target=\"_blank\">Tasmania&#8217;s Overland Track<\/a>\u00a0was finally realised this March when I undertook an &#8216;adventure&#8217; version of this landmark trail with the\u00a0<a title=\"Tasmania Walking Company\" href=\"http:\/\/www.taswalkingco.com.au\" target=\"_blank\">Tasmanian Walking Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The truly rugged landscape made the journey both physically challenging and utterly inspiring. Our small group comprised of 10 like-minded walkers and 2 experienced, very knowledgable, guides. This is only the second time I have undertaken a guided walk.
